As many of you know, we've been keeping an eye on the Gypsy Moth issue for a number of years--last year, a number of trees along Route 9 were infested. Although gypsy moths do not pose a major threat to New York's forests, they are not native and their populations can reach high, destructive (outbreak) levels.
