MORE FABULOUS VINTAGE WEBSITES, FINDS., FROM EVERYTHING CROTON

Howard has finished his latest: the green spot clock house with three flatties--all we have to say is WOW. Click on the photo. See more here  http://bit.ly/1tiqYpa

Nice railroad houses--love the bay windows http://bit.ly/1OhueLt

A reader asks: Help! I love making the old fashioned sponge trees but am having trouble finding the red "pips". Suggestions?

Editor: Yep. Go here  http://www.vintage-ornaments.com/flower-shop/stamens-peps

And from Toys and Stuff: Cereal Premium Boat? Here's a toy I've had laying around for years and never really felt like posting but it just kinda tugged at me and has been saved from the chopping block for now. Normally I'm not a boat collector, although there are some boats in the collection and a few have been posted here before, but this one is different. It's much smaller than the others I have and I believe, but can't be certain, that this was a cereal premium and old cereal premiums are just plain cool in my book. See it here http://toyconnect.blogspot.com/2016/06/cereal-premium-boat.html

  1. Howard has really perfected the art of making his faux flatties really look like the old tin flats.
