Those of us who make our own models, train layouts and/or putz houses are always looking to add that touch of authenticity--a'la billboards and other ads. And so when we spotted this photo again (no known copyright restrictions), circa 1929, courtesy of the National Library of Scotland, we just had to share--perhaps there's some inspiration in there for you and your next project. It's been hi-defd to bring out as many details as possible.
