FORMER HUDSON INSTITUTE PROPERTY: TOWN OF CORTLANDT, WORK SESSION, SPECIAL PERMIT APPLICATION TO RE-USE SITE 4 DRUG REHAB FACILITY

The Town of Cortlandt Planning Board --NOT TO BE CONFUSED WITH THE CROTON PLANNING BOARD--is having a work session on July 30th. It's a very full agenda. Everything Croton has been asked to post the following item from that agenda, Item 8, New Business:

Application of Hudson Wellness for Site Development Plan and Special Permit to re-use the seven existing buildings located at the former Hudson Institute Property to provide a 92 bed private residential treatment program for individuals who are recovering from chemical dependency. 2016 Quaker Ridge Road.

  1. This is an absolute disgrace. What a waste of a beautiful property. And for this. I'm paying $15K in property taxes to live in the area?
