We accepted...Croton it seemed, was a happier place. We accepted and cherished who we were, a solid community. Our officials didn't look to make their careers experimenting on the locals with crazy ideas. Elected officials served Croton residents and no other master. We had problems like the dump and when we lost the railroad revenue, that was a hard blow.
