GYPSY MOTH WATCH 2017

http://www.forestryimages.org/
Welcome to Everything Croton, a collection of all things Croton--our history, our homes, our issues, our businesses, our schools--in short, EVERYTHING CROTON.

As many of you know, we've been keeping an eye on the Gypsy Moth issue for a number of years--last year, a number of trees along Route 9 were infested. Although gypsy moths do not pose a major threat to New York's forests, they are not native and their populations can reach high, destructive (outbreak) levels. The NYSDEC has released their latest information--read about it here http://www.dec.ny.gov/animals/83118.html
