MORE FABULOUS VINTAGE WEBSITES, FINDS, ETC. FROM EVERYTHING CROTON

Some wonderful finds....first up from 1927....Theatrical designer Landy R. Hales created a village setting for Macy’s toy department (click on the photo), complete with streetlamp fixtures disguising the load-bearing columns of the world’s largest store. Children’s souvenirs and colorful posters picturing Wonderland promoted the toy town ideal.

Always worth a second look--One of our favorite vintage made in Japan putz houses--coconut, a great fence and of course that little clay/bisque dog...This one is from author Antoinette Stockenberg's 2012 Christmas mantle.  And check out all those amazing vintage tin flats--a.k.a. zinnfiguren
