To start the spring off right, Deputy Mayor Bob Anderson and Trustee Ken Walsh stopped by Croton Country Gardens on Albany Post Road.
Cookie, who owns the shop, has been working with plants since age 15, and this is his 17th season in Croton.

The shop is also home to Cookie's beautiful rescue cat, MooMoo, who works full time at the shop being friendly, allowing customers to pet her and enjoying cat treats. READ AND SEE MORE OF CROTON COUNTRY GARDENS HERE--COURTESY OF CROTON UNITED.

  1. Cookie helped us save several of our lilac trees one year, a fact we're always grateful for at lilac season.
