MORE FABULOUS VINTAGE WEBSITES, FINDS, ETC. FROM EVERYTHING CROTON

Because we can never get enough department store Christmas themed windows, we bring you Kaufmann’s Christmas window (PITTSBURGH, PA) “Toyland” theme, c. 1926-1928. The horse and rider in the middle closely resemble the popular 1920s cartoon characters Barney Google and his horse, Spark Plug. Check out these wonderful Christmas chocolate tins---available today--or at least in 2012—British http://www.flickr.com/photos/foodbev/7459506294/in/pool-98686519@N00/

Now here’s a really rare find; a vintage made in Japan deer – in BLUE! http://www.flickr.com/photos/bringinstufftoyou/3872681594/in/photostream

If you want to see some very interesting putz, and vintage Christmas too, you should check out the CANADIAN EBAY – go to http://www.ebay.ca/ and type in putz—and check it out—of course, some of these prices, in Canadian dollars or not, are a little too rich—but you will see some unusual things here not often found on the US Ebay. We’ve been regularly checking Ebay Canada and coming across some much older putz houses especially. It varies from day to day of course but wow...
