CROTON HAS A NEW "LITTLE FREE LIBRARY"

Welcome to Everything Croton, a collection of all things Croton--our history, our homes, our issues, our businesses, our schools, our houses of worship--in short, EVERYTHING CROTON.

Courtesy of the Croton United FB Page: Croton has a new library—a Little Free Library to be more exact. Located at 23 Old Post Road South (near the intersection with Maple Avenue) the library is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week--click on the photo. You don’t need a library card and there are no late fees. Croton’s Little Free Library is part of a project that began in 2009 when Todd Bol of Hudson, Wisconsin, built a model of a one room schoolhouse as a tribute to his mother—a teacher who loved to read.
