Howard has his finished his "repro" of an outstanding vintage made in Japan Christmas putz house; click on the link to see it from start to finish--it's two pages

It's followed by a charming Snow White and the 7 Dwarfs set from 1957, courtesy of Croton's own - and by special request; one of our readers found the dwarfs at an estate sale but not the doll...

And finally, one of those back-page magazine ads that probably promised more than it actually delivered; yes you too can have your own U-CONTROL 7 FOOT MONSTER GHOST. Click on the photos and enjoy.

Yes folks, "honeycomb" season will soon be upon us; to the reader looking for Thanksgiving and Halloween honeycomb pumpkin and turkey items that won't break the bank, click on the link

To the reader looking to learn more about 1920 to 1930 holiday Christmas lighting, we've got just the place for you

And now the latest "saling" adventures of Rob and Monica, and National Cheeseburger Day too

And if you're looking for old fashioned tin reflectors for your MIDGET lights, Blumchem has them -- made in Canada -- a little pricey -- star shapes only -- but the only ones we've found so far for the tiny Christmas lights

Can't get enough vintage? Especially Christmas, trains and more.  Click on the link

  1. Thank you so much for the photo of the Snow White and company. This makes my find all the more exciting. Now I will have to find the doll. Nothing like the love of the hunt. Thanks as well for the info about today's blessing of the animals. I think Chaco will behave himself long enough to get some holy water sprinkled on him.
