MORE FABULOUS VINTAGE WEBSITES, FINDS, ETC. FROM EVERYTHING CROTON

Today we bring you a nifty piece of Japanese train toy tinplate--courtesy of a previous auction @ Serioustoyz.com -

It's the “New Cable Train” (Central Line), 1950s, T.N (Nomura), Japan; train is 12”, litho tin b/o (single D) w/ flexible rubber wire ‘track’ that can be laid out in any shape (train will follow); runs well, but poor design--still neat to look at though! And speaking of trains, your editor is now the proud owner of a Lionel O-Gauge Polar express train set--a very generous gift from a friend; it's too late to set up for this year's big Christmas tree, but there will be lots of fun days ahead planning the lay-out. Stay tuned!

Just love the way these vintage Rudolphs are arranged https://www.facebook.com/TheGoldenGlow/photos/pb.196526901272.-2207520000.1417582057./10152520759176273/?type=3&theater

And because we can never get enough log cabins! https://www.flickr.com/photos/22283683@N07/sets/72157636179233783/
