MORE FABULOUS VINTAGE WEBSITES, FINDS, ETC. FROM EVERYTHING CROTON

To the right, a wonderful interior shot of a drugstore in Washington DC, circa 1909--and following it is a closeup which reveals that the photo was taken sometime before the Easter season--note the Easter Egg dyes being offered! And of course we love the Cleopatra Massage Cream for only 69 cents! Click on the photos.

As many of you know, Robin Williams has died; Croton's own Tom Faranda's Folly has a great video of  Williams' first time on the Carson show, 1981; check it out here http://tomfaranda.typepad.com/folly/2014/08/robin-williams-first-time-on-carson-tonight-show-.html

  1. Love the curtains. Funny story. My grandmother washed a pair with regular laundry one time. All our clothes were so itchy we had to thrown them out!
